Nuha Alkadi is a Narrative Designer currently working on the Star Wars FPS Project at Respawn Entertainment. She was previously a Narrative Designer for Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorFar Cry 6 at Ubisoft Toronto, and Journey to Foundation at Archiact.

She loves exploring how we can create interesting narrative systems and mechanics in order for the player to feel a part of an immersive and dynamic storytelling experience. She especially enjoys working closely with many different departments and teams to make sure everyone tells a great unified story.

She also spends time advocating for proper Arab and Muslim representation in video games by taking part in conferences, doing talks, panels and appearing in various podcasts.

Her games have won numerous awards and have been showcased at various events across North America including GDC, Different Games, WordPlay, Damage Camp, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), and more. Her capstone game Disco is Dead! won all the judged awards at the 2017 Level Up Showcase, and was selected as part of GDC's alt.ctrl.GDC showcase in 2018.

She also won two GDC awards for her narrative reviews in 2015 and 2017. Additionally, she was selected to take part in GDC's Amplifying New Voices scholarship program in 2019.

Aside from making games, she is passionate about helping other marginalized game developers get into the industry, offering mentorships and speaking about Arab & Muslim representation in games. She has given talks, panels and mentorship to various organizations like Dames Making Games, Code Coven, Pixelles, Games for Change, Arabic Games Conference, and has volunteered with schools and game dev initiatives aimed for children, such as Youth Fusion and Girls Makes Games.

She graduated with High Honours from Sheridan College's Bachelor of Game Design program in 2017. She has been making and designing games since 2013.
