PREMISE

While texting your girlfriend, your phone's autocorrect feature starts to implement inappropriate words at the worst times.

DESIGN CHALLENGES

In this interactive narrative, I focused on re-creating the fear and anxiety of autocorrect sabotaging your intended messages. The timed autocorrect mechanic causes players to panic as they try to correct their responses in time before Tara reacts. The story is written so that the players would develop an emotional attachment to their fictional girlfriend, and would try their hardest to not ruin their loving relationship. Autocorrect is proven to be a dangerous and sensitive obstacle that players will learn to accept and overcome through morals and trust.
